From solving problems in my dad’s shop to designing a wristband for former collegiate athletes, I have been designing as long as I can remember. The desire to work through problems and find creative solutions was something that always called to me. This desire and a winding path led me to Auburn University’s Industrial Design department. During my three years there I learned through doing, studied abroad, and discovered User Experience Design.
I continued the pursuit of UX with Indiana University’s Human Computer Interaction Design program. While there, I continued to sculpt my design process and philosophy. I hope to use my heritage of simplicity, foundation of industrial design, and this sculpting to continue to design practical solutions for people.
I Believe That:
Good design is simple and honest.
Good design adds to the world in meaningful ways.
Good design considers the system and the details.
Good design starts with the people.
